Bhindi DoPyaza

Ingredients :


Bhindi (lady's finger) sliced half
1.5 cups chopped oinions
3 teaspoons cumin seeds (jeera)
1 teaspoon nigelle seeds (kalonji)
3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
3 teaspoons ginger paste
1 or 2 green chillies chopped
3/4 cup thick curd, whisked
salt to taste, oil




Recipe :
1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin and nigelle seeds and allow to splutter.
2. Add onions and fry till they are tender.
3. Add the turmeric powder and ginger paste and fry for some more time.
4. Now add bhindi and salt. Cook til bhindi is tender.
5. Add the whisked curd and mix well. Cook til the bhindi becomes most and curd has dried up
6. Serve hot with chapatis or parathas
